Graduate Business Fellow
Richard is a first-year MBA student at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with a focus on the intersection of finance, strategic investing, and social welfare. Richard combines his analytical expertise, and start-up experience to passionately assist entrepreneurs to achieve their goals and make an impact in their communities.
Prior to business school Richard held several roles in Corporate Finance for ConocoPhillips before pursuing his first start-up–Glazed, a Houston-based doughnut cafe that has been recognized by Food & Wine as one of the nation’s top doughnuts.
As a co-owner of the city’s first 24-hour gourmet doughnut cafe, Richard has helped redefine and elevate the area’s gourmet pastry scene while employing and impacting members of his local community. He plans to use the growth and expansion of Glazed as catalyst for other aspiring entrepreneurs.
Richard spent his early childhood in Lagos, Nigeria before moving to Dallas, Texas. He attended the University of Houston where he attained a degree in Finance.
