Alicia Francois is pursuing her MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, focusing on the intersection of finance, strategic investing and social impact. Alicia combines her passion for building a more equitable food system with her experience in consulting and M&A advisory to help entrepreneurs make an impact in their communities.
Prior to business school, Alicia developed an expertise in the electronic payments industry while working in strategy consulting and M&A advisory at First Annapolis Consulting. Alicia worked with leaders in the payments industry to help develop long term competitive advantage through investments in FinTech.
Alicia is originally from Virginia Beach, VA and holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Management from Wake Forest University’s School of Business.
Jon Cambras is pursuing his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and is focusing on finance, strategy, and technological innovation. At Kellogg Jon helped start FinTech@Kellogg, a club which aims to identify and promote the latest in financial innovation, specifically as it relates to increasing awareness around financial inclusion.
Prior to business school, Jon worked as a teacher and then as the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Xavier High School in Manhattan. It was through this role in admissions that Jon had the opportunity to work with foundations and non-profits around New York City, and experienced first-hand the obstacles families face when they don’t have access to basic financial services.
Jon is originally from Stratford, CT and holds a B.A. from Penn State University and an M.A. in Education from New York University.
